ASEAN DAY 2023 by PSU Phuket
On September 13, 2023, the Faculty of International Studies hosted “ASEAN DAY 2023 by PSU Phuket.” The primary objective of this event was to foster a deeper understanding of ASEAN through the launch of four main activities:
(1) ASEAN Talk on the topic ‘The Future of ASEAN,’ graced by the presence of two distinguished speakers: Mr. Matthew Barclay, the Consul General of the Australian Consulate-General in Phuket, Thailand, and Mrs. Shen Ping, the Consul and First Secretary of the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Songkhla and the Phuket Consular Office, a representative of Mr. Li Chenglong, Counselor of the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Songkhla and Chief of the Phuket Consular Office.
(2) ASEAN Cultural Show performed by CIP and FIS lecturers including the shows from FIS students.
(3) ASEAN Art Workshop, with our esteemed guest speaker, Assoc. Prof. Sopon Supaviriyakorn and,
(4) Speech Contest with a focus on ‘ASEAN: Unity in Diversity’, in which secondary school students participated.
